the two last week have been really busy and we hadn’t much time to work on the website. But we’ve finished our secret project and it will be released soon. Meanwhile, we have started working a improvements for picture uploading system. We’ll try to make it easier to upload several pictures at once and managing them.
On Facebook, the Hejorama group is growing (faster than the site actually) and we’ve started a few topics. So, if you’re on facebook, join us and meet the “facebooking hejie” community.

we’ve finally added a feature that was requested by so many hejies : a draft mode ! So from now on, you can start writing a chronicle and finish it later. To do that you just have to uncheck a box that make your chronicle visible/invisible. Just click on the screenshot below for a preview.
We have also fixed a few bugs. But for great new features you’ll have to wait a little as we are currently working on a secret project. It will be revealed soon, so stay tuned

we’ve decided to have a little more than just updates about hejorama.com on this blog. So here’s a little post about Kiva.org, a website we’ve discovered recently and that we want to promote. Basically, Kiva gives the opportunity to everybody to loan money to entrepreneurs in the developing world. This way, they can start or expand businesses. That’s really a good way to help them lift themselves out of poverty.

this is the first post in English cause we’ve decided to make Hejorama international. We consider important to mix people from all around in the Hejies community as that’s what travelling is all about !
This week we released a major update of the site. First we made a new design of the homepage to make it more clear and with a central box containing some piece of information about what Hejorama is. We hope that now people, will have a better understanding of the site when arriving on the homepage. The tag cloud got a lot prettier with some coloring and we added a new module showing some stats about the community.
We’ve also made some major bugfixes. The most important is that the rich text chronicle editor is now fully functional under IE and Firefox. It should work far more better than it was. Still, you’d rather not copy/past text from word as it can make some strange behavior even if we tried to protect it.
There are some more new stuff but I let you discover it by yourself. Enjoy!

petit message pour préciser qu’il n’y aura pas de mise à jour cette semaine. En effet, nous travaillons actuellement sur la page d’accueil du site qui va être un peu renouvelée.
De plus, nous avons découvert d’importants bugs dans notre éditeur de chronique, en particulier sur Internet Explorer. Nous travaillons donc à l’amélioration de notre système.
N’oubliez pas, Hejorama fonctionne le mieux sur Firefox !!
PS: cet post est le dernier en français… A partir de la semaine prochaine,le blog passe en anglais.

petit post rapide pour indiquer que nous avons mis le site à jour le week end dernier afin de corriger un petit bug dans la page d’upload d’images.
Nous avons aussi affiner l’algorithme du moteur de recherche. Désormais, les résultats sont plus fiables car les mots tels que “le”, “la”, “un”, etc. sont supprimés de la recherche. Ils induisaient souvent des résultats faussés.
Nous préparons actuellement une nouvelle version de la page d’accueil. Plus de news la semaine prochain !

petit post pour signaler une petite mise à jour hebdomadaire qui corrige quelques petits bugs. En particulier, la mise en page la page de rapport de bug est désormais parfaitement intégré. La gestion de la liste des pays est aussi corrigée pour qu’elle soit adapté à la langue dans laquelle se trouve le site. Il reste encore quelques bugs cependant dû au passage du site en mode “international”.
